Lastly, take into account the various benefits and rewards program. Look for cards which have discounts or which has special rewards programs that enable the card to pay for itself. There are other benefits like purchase protection, extended warranties, roadside assistance, travel insurance, special cash back incentive program, auto rental insurance and even airline miles rewards program. Cards which have benefits are a little costlier than those which don't. Therefore, base your choice on your lifestyle. For instance, there is no need to avail travel insurance if you are not in the habit of traveling.
