   i applied for a credit card but it was declined because im black listed,but all my debts are up to date, help?
   Hello i applied for a credit card at FNB but my application was declined because i was black listed by truworths for not paying for 2 months, but that was when i was still a student and it was a student account. I am currently employed and my debts are up to date, and i thought of applying for a credit card. Can you please give me advise how to clear my name so that my application can be reconsider

   First request your free credit report from annaulcreditreport .com or call them toll free @
   1-877-322-8228 for 3 free reports. If the derogatory information is still there, perhaps you can get a secured credit card. Any adverse info will stay on your files for 7 years but it comes less important as the years go by. If this is only time you were late, perhaps they will remove it for you.
