There are two kinds of bad credit personal loans available for you such as secured and unsecured. For secured personal loans, you need to pledge any collateral, usually the interest rate is very low with repayment term of 5-25 years, and you can have a loan of $5000 to $75,000. The amount depends on the collateral offered to obtain the loan, but you may borrow around 1.25% of the equity value of collateral. Here, you can get dual benefit by timely reimbursement with credit score improvement.

Unsecured loans are a bit difficult to find and avail. However, with unsecured personal loans, you can manage small financial problems. These bad credit loans do not demand any collateral. The money offered here is up to $500 to $25,000 and the tenure of these loans ranges from 1-10 years.

Here, the interest rate is very high. However, you can avoid such high rate of interest by opting for a loan with a low rate of interest, which is easily accessible in the market. The tenure period of this loan depends on your loan amount. If you make use of this loan for a car purchase or vacation, the time provided will become less.

Is an employer legally required to pay an employee on time?
I’m a college student, and I spent this summer working part-time for a franchisee-owned fast-food establishment. This store pays its employees every two weeks.

The payday before last, I went to pick up my check as usual, only to discover that no one working there, including the manager, had any idea where my check was. All of the other employees’ checks were there, but mine was missing.

My manager told me he would contact the owner of the franchise, and I should have my check by the following Monday. On Monday, I showed up to collect my check, but my manager said that now, he wouldn’t receive the check until the next Monday. I called the next Monday, and was told my check still hadn’t arrived, and that I would be contacted as soon as it had. After more than a week of waiting, I returned (today) to find that my check STILL had not arrived. My manager said he would contact the owner again, but I probably won’t get my check until next week.

If that proves true, this check will be a full month late.

I was counting on that money to pay bills. Like most people, I budget according to my pay schedule. Since I didn’t receive any money on payday, I wasn’t able to pay my credit card bill the following week, leaving me with over $100 in late fees, a quadrupled monthly minimum payment, and a huge dent in my heretofore excellent credit score. In three years of having a credit card, I have never once been late on a payment—until now.

Yesterday, as a result of this negative credit, my student loan application was denied. I am entering my third year of college, and all of my student loans up until now have been approved. Now I am scrambling to find the money I will need for school, which starts in two weeks, all because my employer failed to pay me the money I was owed.

    Here is my question:

Is my employer compelled by law to pay me on time (or within a reasonable amount of time after the scheduled payday)? I so, am I entitled to any restitution for the hardship inflicted on me by not receiving my check? I feel like, at this point, I am owed more than just my month-late paycheck. I want to push the store owner to compensate me for what happened, but I need to know if I have any legal ammunition with which to threaten him. What applicable laws might help me make my case to the owner? (I live and work in Indiana).

How do I go about getting a bar to film in?
Ok, this is problem: I’m making an independant film and I need a bar to film in. The only problem is, I have no idea how to get permission as I don’t know anyone who owns a bar. That, and I don’t have any money to pay them with. So two things: If your answer is good, I’ll mention you in the credits (Just what everyone wants, mention in a student film!). Two, if you have a bar in Ontario, and you find the offer of no money and a thank you appealing, can I use your establishment please? We’ll likely by beer, and we’ll make mention in credits! Please?

Indiana state statutes govern employee payments and the law is enforced by the state department of labor. Call them and file a complaint. You may be able to get a lot more than just your pay. Reference is Indiana Wage Payment Statute, Indiana Code Section 22-2-5-1 et seq.
It is a good idea to talk with an attorney, just to make sure you have a good handle on the law and your rights as an employee to receive timely payment of wages. The statute provides for your employer to pay for your legal fees and 10% of your wages for every day it is late up to 100% of your past due wages. Wages are late if they are paid more than 10 days after the end of your last pay period.

Are there any real legitimate Student Loan Consolidation Agencies out there with a real history?
I recently found out that I had a student loan in default with judgment. I thought that this was taken care of in an earlier consolidation agreement and that my last payment was completed back in 2007 for a different loan.
It is 2010 and I applied for college. Low and behold there was a very old loan, that apparently for some reason was completely over looked by both the state and the IRS and as I had received my letter stating I was paid in full with no further contact for years, I thought that my loan days where behind me . Regardless, I now have a student loan in default.
I contacted ECMC and there sub contractor, Premier Credit to find out what could be done and how this might have happened. I was basically shut down and simply told that it was not there concern and to pay my bill. I completely dislike both companies immensely, however, they said I had no choice but to work with them… and as I wanted to go to College, I orally complied. I decided to make two good faith payments but did not sign there documents. It was only after reading about there reputations, in regards to both Companies and there practices, that I decided it might be better all together to consolidate my loan completely outside of either company and try to finish working with the William D. Ford Direct Loan Program without placing these two companies anywhere in my future program or re-payment.

Since then, I have been looking for a real Consolidation Company that has a real history, a real background and something tangible that is not going to cost me $500.00 in up front fees. I know consolidation companies have there fees and I don’t mind that but really need your help in finding an actual real Company.

Each of the Establishments I have researched has come up with no background, there BBB pages claiming the official stance and stating, that the most noted sites on the internet for handling such affairs are ” not an accredited member of the BBB ” – most of these sites I found are coming out of Florida and having no legitimate history… at all. Nothing short of there site and I cannot even confirm or find one legitimate actual real company, that I feel comfortable working with.

Does anyone have a good experience with a Defaulted Student Loan Consolidation Company ~that can write in and tell me about there experience and/ or a good company that I can trust with my finances?

Does anyone out there know of any way, I can get rid of ECMC ‘s claims that if I want to be out of default that I specifically – ” HAVE TO SIGN WITH THEM “~ any ideas? I don’t mind paying back my loan but I just don’t want those Companies involved. If anyone has worked with ECMC before and has a good / bad response, please feel free to tell me.

I would love to hear all of your comments… thank you.

Literally go in and ask them explain that youre an indepentent director so therefore you havent the finaces but say that you will mention them in the credits and recommend there bar to every1 you know. Also offer the staff a cameo role (walk on etc.) this usually goes down well ;) Also worth mentioning that the cast and crew are avid drinkers and will therefore bring lots of business!!

Put together a one page resume and begin sending it out to the pharmaceutical companies. While they usually hire college grads, with your education, they may make an exception. Get that resume together and see what happens. In pharmaceutical sales, appearance is very important. Go get a professional photo taken and use it on your resume. This is the kind of job that not only wants young and good looking but smart.

Where/How to do if I want to borrow money from a bank?
or any other establishment that offers these services? I really really need to borrow £200 right now but I dont know what to do about it. My students account is on overdraft and my credit scoring is low. Is there anyway I can borrow this amount. Do banks offer this? I intend to repay it by the end of next month. Please advise me with information and details. Am stuck.

  9. CornishBlue says:

Do you have any friends/relatives/parents who could lend you the money? That would probably be easier than going to a bank. If not maybe you could ask the bank to extend your overdraft limit. Or you could research Credit Unions to see if that offers a solution.
Also, are you a student at college/university? Many colleges have hardship funds or other ways of helping students with financial difficulties.
