Easiest credit card to get for a college student?
I’m a 20 year old sophmore in college and have applied for different student credit cards and retail store credit cards and have been denied for all of them. I have no credit history, but I read that having a job increases your chance of getting approved, but I’ve had a steady job for 3 years and still nothing. I don’t want a secured card or a card from First Premier bank since 59.9% apr is ridiculous. Is their any other ways I can get approved for a credit card?

When applying for a credit card, do I report my student loan as income?
I have no other “income” besides the federal student loan I’ve taken out. I’m trying to apply for a student credit card to build my credit. The application asks for “yearly income” and “other income”. Does my financial aid apply to either of these?

How do I get a student credit card with no credit?
Everybody told me I’d get accepted for American Express Blue for Students because they LOVE to give cards to ANYONE, but I was rejected. I have no credit. What are some other student cards that might accept me? If I get rejected for one card, does that mean the rest will reject me too?

no job no card period. lenders are much more cautious now. you can get your parents to get you one if they agree.

How to get a student credit card?
So I am going to be a sophmore in college and its about time to gain credit, I have a savings account but I dont have a credit card and don’t want my parents to co-sign. Is there any credit card company or card holder that helps students with no credit get a credit card?

  6. scoutma53 says:

I would say no, because it’s a loan, not income. You have to repay it at some point. If you had won a scholarship, that would be income.
