Author: Jill Samuel
Instant approval, sound s nice doesn't it? It seems so promising especially to those who are in dire need of a credit card and to those who are applying for their first credit cards. This is because there are a lot of people who are very anxious when it comes to credit card applications. Some of them fear the thought of being rejected. This may reflect on their credit reports which can make it worse if they were bad to begin with.
But with the emergence of credit card websites, instant credit card approval has become a reality. Online credit card application has already been happening in the past few years, but with the materialization of better software, better technology and automation, instant approval has also become a great convenience.
But instant approval doesn't mean that you can use the card immediately after being approved. It's only the approval that comes instantly. What this means is that after you have submitted the details and information the credit card company requires, they will be able to process your application immediately and approve it if it meets their requirements. You will receive information about your approval but the actual card will be sent out to you. You will then have to activate it upon receiving it.
Instant Online Credit Card Application
The great thing about it is that you don't have to wait and be moping about just wondering if you get approved. Your patience won't be stretched to its limits and the only waiting you need to do is for the arrival of the actual card.
Saying that this is a great convenient is an understatement, especially if you can remember how the traditional process works. Remember how you are ssupposed to send out your application through snail mail. Then they would process the application for weeks. Then they would send out the approval and the card to you through snail mail again. It could take more than a month. That is an aggravation you never have to go through ever again.
Plus, there are also a great number of benefits that you can get when you file your application online. You will be able to compare all the companies and the types of credit card that they are offering. You can choose which one would be perfectly suitable for your financial situation. Plus, you may also be getting a lot of deals which can save you money on the long run.
Instant Online Credit Card Application
But before we get all hyped up with words like "instant" and "approval" or "within minutes," we must understand that this convenience has its limitations. Unfortunately, not all people are good candidates for such offer. Credit card applications that come with instant approval are designed for those who have good or impeccable credit ratings.
But, if you try hard enough, you may be able to find a credit card company that may be all too willing to provide such offer even if you don't have a credit rating yet, or you have a little blemish on your credit score. Thanks to the great competitiveness happening between these companies, they want to get as much clients as they can.
So take the time to do your research, you may be able to get instant approval.

You probably won’t, and that’s why our banking system is in much better shape than theirs.
First check with the nearest Mexico consulate office. They can guide you correctly.
Second, check the first link below. It is a link to a similar question asked earlier on this forum.
Third, check the 3rd link below. Wells Fargo Bank may also be able to help. This was reported in the news media.
Has anyone ever got a “60 second decision” from an online credit card application?
I realize credit cards are the devil, and I’m trying to pay all of them off. However, I was late by 1 or 2 days since the company didn’t credit my payments until they felt like it. As a result, I am now at the default rate of 30.37% APR. I can’t afford to make a payment of 140 and have 145 go to interest each month. I talked to my banker or try to get some help & he told me to transfer the balance to another card. Discover is not currently offering any balance transfers, unless you apply for a new card. So, I recently filled out 2 online credit card application, one with US Bank & one on Discover.com. Both clearly state that I will receive a decision within 60 seconds, but I am still waiting. I filled out the US Bank application 4 days ago. I filled out the Discover application last night, since I hadn’t heard from US Bank. Discover also has a button to check the status of an application, but apparently it takes 24 hours or more before you can do that. Why do they state they will give you an instant decision, yet they don’t? I want to know if anybody has ever actually gotten an instant decision on a credit card.
Once you hit submit, within 60 seconds you will receive an answer if you are approved, if you are not approved, it will usually say they need further information and will give you an answer by mail in 7-10 days. Historically, this usually means you didn’t get approved, but that is not 100%, it will be reviewed by a human more than likely at this time.
Almost all credit card applications have an option while you are filling out the application to fill out accounts that you want to balance transfer to your new card, if you are approved, they will pay those balances for you.
Each card has different terms, you could make too much money for the particular type of card you applied for therefore they are going to give you another type of card( just an example) I have a card that when I applied for a higher limit they told me they could not increase my limit due to the term of my credit card agreement. Turns out that particular card only went up to a certain limit and an increase would have went over the limit but theey did switch e over. They will explain it to you when they send you the card. Dont worry. At least you got the card and if you dont like the terms dont use it then close it.
How does instant online credit card approval work?
Is there such a thing when you apply for a new credit card to transfer a balance to? Will you find out instantly if you were officially approved for the new card? Or does a human being have to review your application first?
yes you need to go look online at credit cards.com and there are alot to pick from, you can apply for as many as you want and get instant approval within 1 minute
What does it mean when you apply for a credit card online instant approval, and it says….?
I applied for a First Premiere credit card for people trying to rebuild there credit. But it said that they are not able to process my application under the terms of this credit card, however, they are going to offer me another line of credit. The original terms for this credit card is for $250.00, but when I put in my employment info, and how much I make a year, and since the last time I applied, my credit score has went up. I don’t know if that had anything to do with it or not. Could I be over qualified for the card, and they are going to offer me a higher credit limit?
